Kareen Erbe

Kareen studied advanced permaculture design at the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.  She has designed numerous permaculture properties and is converting her property into a cold-climate permaculture demonstration site.  Kareen teaches organic gardening and permaculture classes and owns Broken Ground, a Bozeman, Montana-based permaculture education and design business.

Andrea Niederer

Andrea is a certified University of Idaho Extension master gardener who has been digging, planting, and growing for the last 18 years.  She currently gardens in Eagle, Idaho, where she tries out new gardening ideas on her two daughters and volunteers at the local elementary school garden.

Lauren Springer Ogden

Lauren is a noted garden designer and author.  She lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Kristen Rickels Prinzing

Kristen lives in Billings, Montana, where she runs the non-profit MusEco Media and Education Project and produces the TV program "Green Smarts with the Green Man."

Janet Henderson Schoniger

Janet is a freelance writer and communications consultant who enjoys tinkering with her modest suburban garden in Centennial, Colorado.

Susan J. Tweit

Susan is an award-winning writer and plant ecologist who has studied and written about nature for over three decades, practiced restoration ecology in urban places, and designed and tended gardens around the West.  Her writing has been featured in magazines and newspapers from Audubon and Popular Mechanics to Fine Gardening and the Los Angeles Times.  She is the author of 12 books, including The Rocky Mountain Garden Survival Guide and a memoir, Walking Nature Home.
